Dante K. Mabini
Youth cycling coach and mentor
- 🇨🇦 Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada
- Since 1985
- English, Filipino
For 41 years I've run the cycling program at Burnaby Beacon Youth Club in Burnaby. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I walk the dog by the river.
More about Dante
If you played for me, you probably remember that terrible school play.
What gifts mean to Dante: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

You coached me in 2009. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from León.

You taught us how to lose properly. Worth more than any trophy. Greetings from Maringá.
