Dante H. Valdez
Self-taught woodcarving artist
- 🇵🇭 Manila, Metro Manila, Philippines
- The Manila Studio
- 2017 to 2025
- English, Filipino
I work mostly in woodcarving, sometimes glass art. My first show was in 2017 at The Manila Studio, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by old photographs. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Dante
I've had 6 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.

What gifts mean to Dante: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
