Danjuma Uchenna Igwe
Economics and music teacher, Lagos
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Westbrook Boys' School
- Since 1982
- English, Yoruba
For 44 years I have been the economics teacher at Westbrook Boys' School. I teach Grade 4 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
More about Danjuma
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Danjuma: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
