Coached rugby for 16 years in Peoria
- 🇺🇸 Peoria, Illinois, United States
- Peoria Community Club
- 1998 to 2014
- English, Spanish
For 16 years I ran the rugby program at Peoria Community Club in Peoria. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Danielle
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Danielle: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
