Danielle E. Obrien
12 years teaching Spanish in Chicago
- 🇺🇸 Chicago, Illinois, United States
- Chicago High School
- 2009 to 2018
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a mechanic, and nine years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I run most mornings. Inside it, I never once raised my voice.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Danielle
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

You taught me Spanish in 2010 at Chicago High School. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.

You taught me Spanish in 2017 at Chicago High School. I still remember the quiz night we nearly won.
