I teach public health at Christchurch Polytechnic since 1998, and supervised 18 dissertations along the way.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I sing in a choir.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Danielle
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Danielle: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
