I've been a nurse for 28 years, most of them in dialysis at Tuxtla Gutiérrez Regional Medical Center in Tuxtla Gutiérrez. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I'm learning the guitar.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
