Daniela C. Benítez

27 years teaching linguistics at Vancouver Polytechnic

  • 🇺🇸 Vancouver, Washington, United States
  • Vancouver Polytechnic
  • Since 1989
  • English
My subject is linguistics, and for 37 years I get to share it with undergraduates at Vancouver Polytechnic. I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

More about Daniela

I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.

What gifts mean to Daniela: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
