Daniel H. Mendoza
Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇸 Aurora, Illinois, United States
- Old Holy Cross Trades Guild
- Since 2014
- English, Spanish, French
My trade is thatching. I opened my own shop in 2014 in Aurora and I'm still there most mornings.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I watch every football match going.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Daniel
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Daniel: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
