Daniel Edward Amoah
Coached chess for eleven years in Kumasi
- 🇬🇭 Kumasi, Ashanti, Ghana
- Our Lady of Peace Boxing Gym
- 1979 to 1990
- English, Twi
For eleven years I ran the chess program at Our Lady of Peace Boxing Gym in Kumasi. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Daniel
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Daniel: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
