Daniel Ebuka Aliyu

Hockey and fitness coach, Lagos

  • 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
  • Lagos Athletic Club
  • 1984 to 2009
  • English, Hausa
I coached hockey at Lagos Athletic Club from 1984 to 2009. Most of my players were between 10 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. I'm still learning every day.

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
