I taught Spanish and environmental science at Meadowbank Girls' School, Coventry. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

You taught me Spanish in 1983 at Meadowbank Girls' School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
