I coached cross country at Makati Athletic Club from 2001 to 2024. Most of my players were between 11 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.

I still think about the quiz night we nearly won. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Bahir Dar.
