Danica P. Alcantara
37 years teaching environmental science in Manila
- 🇵🇭 Manila, Metro Manila, Philippines
- Manila Secondary School
- 1989 to 2015
- English, Filipino
Manila Secondary School was my second home. I taught environmental science there from 1989 to 2015, mostly the youngest children.
Over the years I had 1,530 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Danica
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Danica: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

you taught me environmental science in 2013 at Manila Secondary School. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand. Thank you again.
