Helping people break into first-generation students

For 45 years I've mentored people in first-generation students and teaching. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
More about Dana
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Dana: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.

you helped me get my first first-generation students job in 2007. I still have your notes. Truly.
