I spent 30 years as a lecturer in anthropology at Valley View College in București. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more. Former students now work as a bus driver and in a dozen other fields. It is the best part of this job. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Dan: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
