Damilola Juliet Bankole
20 years teaching drama in Wudil
- 🇳🇬 Wudil, Kano, Nigeria
- Bamboo Technical College
- Since 2016
- English, Igbo
I came to teaching late, after working as a waiter, and ten years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 250 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Damilola: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me drama in 2025 at Bamboo Technical College. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.
