Damilola Grace Fashola
Flute player and teacher in Lagos
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Lagos Ensemble
- 1993 to 2017
- English, Yoruba
I play flute and jazz. I started in 1993 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 15 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Damilola
I wrote my first song when I was 15. It was terrible and I still love it.
