Damilola Amaka Jimoh
Master of pottery, now teaching apprentices
- 🇳🇬 Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria
- Old Pioneer Repairs
- Since 1981
- English, Igbo
My trade is pottery. I opened my own shop in 1981 in Ikeja and I'm still there most mornings.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I run most mornings.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Damilola
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Damilola: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
