I taught English literature at Sunrise Public School in Marseille from 1984 to 1992. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I answered every email, even at midnight.
Over the years I had 280 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Damien
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Damien: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
