My subject is architecture, and for 18 years I got to share it with undergraduates at Paris Institute of Technology.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I fix old bicycles.
More about Damien
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Damien: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
