I'm a calligraphy artist based in Tokyo. I've been making things since 1981 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives.
I take the work seriously, though not myself. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Daisuke
I've had 4 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.

What gifts mean to Daisuke: A gift would go toward materials for my next series.

I bought one of your pieces in 2000. It's still the first thing I see in the morning Greetings from Leicester.
