I taught chemistry at Kyoto High School in Kyoto from 1999 to 2016. Most days I taught Year 9, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I ran the gardening club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I watch every football match going.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
