Cynthia N. Bowers

Master of bicycle repair, now teaching apprentices

  • 🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States
  • Los Angeles Shop
  • 1991 to 2018
  • English
My trade is bicycle repair. I opened my own shop in 1991 in Los Angeles and I'm still there most mornings. Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I always make time for a proper cup of tea. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Cynthia: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
