I teach design and technology at Frangipani Secondary School in Austin since 1978. Most days I teach Grade 6, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Cynthia
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Cynthia: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
