Crystal S. West

26 years teaching marine biology at Gateway Institute of Technology

I've spent 43 years as a lecturer in marine biology at Gateway Institute of Technology in London. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more. I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

More about Crystal

I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
