I taught history at Eugene Grammar School in Eugene from 2003 to 2018. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I never turned anyone away.
I coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Crystal
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
