I came to teaching late, after working as a mechanic, and twelve years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I run most mornings. Inside it, I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Crystal
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Crystal: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

I'm a engineer now and I honestly think it started in your classroom. Greetings from Bronx.
