Cristian L. Villalobos
Master of tiling, now teaching apprentices
- 🇲🇽 Coyoacán, Ciudad de México, Mexico
- The Gateway Repairs
- Since 1979
- English
I've worked in tiling since 1979. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 940 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I carry a notebook everywhere.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Cristian
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Cristian: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
