Cris Ramirez
Local welding and tiling
- 🇨🇦 Gatineau, Quebec, Canada
- Gatineau Trades Guild
- 1983 to 2008
- English
I've worked in welding from 1983 to 2008. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 1,480 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
More about Cris
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Cris: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
