I'm a baseball coach. I never went pro, but I got to see 180 kids fall in love with the game.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Cris
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Cris: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
