For 45 years I have been the agriculture teacher at San Jose Technical College. I teach the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Courtney
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
