Corazon D. Mercado

History and music teacher, Manila

  • 🇵🇭 Manila, Metro Manila, Philippines
  • Sunrise Primary School
  • Since 1989
  • English, Filipino
For 37 years I have been the history teacher at Sunrise Primary School. I teach Grade 8 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.

More about Corazon

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
