Cora Gomez
Retired statistics teacher from Oakland Grammar School
- 🇺🇸 Oakland, California, United States
- Oakland Grammar School
- 2007 to 2023
- English
For 16 years I was the statistics teacher at Oakland Grammar School. I taught Year 9 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 530 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Cora
If you were in my Year 9 class, you probably remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.

I'm a mechanic now and I honestly think it started in your classroom. Greetings from Ciudad de México.

You taught me statistics in 2020 at Oakland Grammar School. I still remember the quiz night we nearly won.
