Cooper Stevens
Thatching for 18 years in Glasgow
- 🇬🇧 Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom
- Old Stonebridge Repairs
- 2004 to 2022
- English
I've worked in thatching from 2004 to 2022. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 850 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I try to remember everyone's name.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Cooper: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
