Welding, done properly
- 🇺🇸 Louisville, Kentucky, United States
- Louisville Trades Guild
- 1981 to 2010
- English
My trade is welding. I opened my own shop in 1981 in Louisville and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I take the work seriously, though not myself.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
What gifts mean to Cooper: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
