Cooper K. Thornton

30 years teaching computer science in San Diego

🇺🇸 San Diego, California, United States
Andes High School
Since 1985
English

I came to teaching late, after working as a bank clerk, and 41 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. I've run the homework club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I'm always reading two books at once. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

More about Cooper

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

Subjects taught

Computer science Physics French

What gifts mean to Cooper: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
