Cooper D. Hicks
Runs the refugee support in San Antonio
- 🇺🇸 San Antonio, Texas, United States
- Hillcrest Mutual Aid
- 1988 to 2007
- English
I've volunteered with Hillcrest Mutual Aid from 1988 to 2007. I started on a Saturday morning "just to help out" and never left.
Our crew is about 34 people now. Everyone brings something.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Cooper
We run on goodwill and a very old kettle.
What gifts mean to Cooper: I'd put a gift toward transport for our volunteers.
