Consuelo W. Valdez
Teacher at Highland Middle School, loves religious studies
- 🇺🇸 Chattanooga, Tennessee, United States
- Highland Middle School
- Since 1992
- English, French
I came to teaching late, after working as a shop assistant, and 34 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 1,020 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Consuelo
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Consuelo: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me religious studies in 2001 at Highland Middle School. I still remember the quiz night we nearly won. Truly.
