Consuelo Vargas
Coached gymnastics for 22 years in Puebla
- 🇲🇽 Puebla, Puebla, Mexico
- Starlight Swimming Club
- 1979 to 2001
- English, Spanish
For 22 years I ran the gymnastics program at Starlight Swimming Club in Puebla. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
More about Consuelo
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Consuelo: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
