I taught special education at Unity Academy in Guadalajara from 1987 to 2003. Most days I taught Grade 6, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Over the years I had 460 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
