Consuelo D. Montes
Oil painting artist in Brooklyn
- 🇺🇸 Brooklyn, New York, United States
- Beacon Studio
- 1981 to 2018
- English, Spanish
I work mostly in oil painting, sometimes glass art. My first show was in 1981 at Beacon Studio, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I take the work seriously, though not myself. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.

If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
