I've been a nurse for 21 years, most of them in community health at Kilkenny Community Hospital in Kilkenny. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
