Comfort Wunmi Okonkwo
Painter, potter and teacher at Harmony Studio
- 🇳🇬 Asaba, Delta, Nigeria
- 1996 to 2019
- English, Hausa
I'm a sculpture artist based in Asaba. I've been making things from 1996 to 2019 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives.
Most of my work is inspired by markets and street scenes. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Comfort
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
What gifts mean to Comfort: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
