For nine years I was the social studies teacher at Accra Boys' School. I taught Grade 4 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
