Colton T. Howell

Weaving, done properly

  • 🇺🇸 Joliet, Illinois, United States
  • Joliet Workshop
  • Since 2004
  • English
I've worked in weaving since 2004. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 1,140 apprentices. The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 24 years later for another job. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

More about Colton

Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.

Crafts and trades

What gifts mean to Colton: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
