I taught early years at San Diego Middle School in San Diego from 2006 to 2014. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I answered every email, even at midnight.
I coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Colton
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
