Collins Musyoka Kimaro
Cross country coach, Nairobi Community Club

I've coached cross country at Nairobi Community Club since 1984. Most of my players were between 11 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never raise my voice.
More about Collins
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Collins: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

You coached me in 2018. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Kansas City.
