Collins Kamau Ssemwogerere

Table tennis and fitness coach, Kasarani

🇰🇪 Kasarani, Nairobi, Kenya
Kasarani Community Club
Since 2001
English, Spanish

For 25 years I've run the table tennis program at Kasarani Community Club in Kasarani. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather. Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I bake for the whole street at New Year. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

More about Collins

If you played for me, you probably remember the long bus ride home.

What gifts mean to Collins: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
