Coach Zubby

Youth rowing coach and mentor

  • 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
  • Lagos Sports Club
  • Since 2014
  • English, Yoruba
I'm a rowing coach. I never went pro, but I get to see 670 kids fall in love with the game. Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.

More about Coach Zubby

Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Coach Zubby: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
